Xbow/Bard vs Cleric/Bard

I want to know people's opinion about which is better for PvE. I want a char that kills and levels up almost as fast as a plain wizard but at the same time having greater survivability. Bard is must, because of noise and the speed. I like to grind in areas crowded with mobs such as the bandit den, where mobs are close to me and I can loot faster. But most importantly I want to have char that is fun to play in both solo and party PvE.

so you skill bard only for speed and noise? no attacks, guards or dances? i think you know that you have to skill bard attack skills when you do bard/cleric. And a char that lv up as fast as wizards? I think no char lvs up faster as wizards. hmm greater survivability is difficult with bard/cleric but its a great build if you know how to play =)

I would skill absolutely everything in the bard tree, except for the nukes if I go xbow.

And a char that lv up as fast as wizards?

levels up almost as fast as a plain wizard

Btw I am Libra, that makes it even harder to choose
